Overview
The American Society for Preventive Cardiology (ASPC) Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Training Academy is a comprehensive, one-day program designed to provide participants with a thorough introduction to preventive cardiology. This course is held one day prior to the ASPC 2026 Congress on CVD Prevention.
This course covers core topics in preventive cardiology, from lipid and hypertension management to cardiovascular imaging for risk assessment, to novel risk factors and emerging therapies. Participants will engage in case-based learning, interactive panel discussions, and sessions focused on emerging therapies and timely topics in cardiovascular disease prevention. Networking opportunities with faculty and ASPC leadership are integrated throughout the day, fostering meaningful connections among participants and leaders in preventive cardiology.
The Academy concludes with an overview of ASPC initiatives and guidance on engaging with the organization. This program is ideal for early-career clinicians, fellows, and residents seeking to advance their expertise and contribute to the evolving field of preventive cardiology.
All successful applicants receive travel stipends to cover attendance at the meeting and complimentary registration to the ASPC Congress on CVD Prevention in Scottsdale, AZ, July 31-August 2, 2026.*
