Professional Bio
I am a Brazilian medical student at the University of Southern Santa Catarina (UNISUL), currently in my third year, with a strong academic focus on cardiology and preventive cardiology. I am passionate about advancing evidence-based medicine through high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and I aspire to pursue medical residency in the United States.
I have led and co-authored multiple systematic reviews and meta-analyses published or under submission to high-impact journals, including studies in cardiovascular medicine. My experience includes advanced statistical methods such as trial sequential analysis.
As an Ambassador for the Meta-Analysis Academy, I promote research education, mentor students, and help connect professionals to structured training in systematic review methodology.
Beyond my medical training, I am committed to leadership of IFMSA, academic networking, and professional development. I am particularly interested in building international collaborations, expanding research opportunities, and contributing to impactful scientific publications.
