Nismat Javed, MBBS, MD

Dr. Nismat Javed is a Cardiology Fellow at Mount Sinai Morningside–BronxCare, who earned her M.B.B.S. from Shifa College of Medicine in Pakistan in 2021. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and served as Interim Chief Resident at BronxCare Health System, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. An active researcher and peer reviewer with over 100 manuscript reviews for journals such as Cureus, Access Microbiology, Journal of Invasive Cardiology, and Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine, she has published analyses in JACC, the American Journal of Cardiology, and Journal of Cardiac Failure, utilizing large national databases and meta-analytic methods. Dr. Javed also contributes to editorial and advisory panels, volunteers with the ACC New York Chapter and the NY AHA FIT Chapter as Vice President, and participates in global health initiatives.
