Professional Bio
Dr. Nader Silver currently serves as Chief Resident of the Preventive Medicine program at Johns Hopkins University, and is also pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the Bloomberg School of Public Health. He has a special interest in cardiometabolic prevention, as well as the role of food & nutrition in health promotion and disease prevention. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2015, and completed his primary residency in family medicine. He holds additional board-certifications in both lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine, from the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM) and the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). Dr. Silver is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and a member of several professional associations, including the American College of Preventive Medicine, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Obesity Medicine Association. He has had the opportunity to both publish and serve as a peer reviewer for medical journals.
