Professional Bio
As an incoming Internal Medicine Resident Physician at Northwell Health – Lenox Hill Hospital and soon-to-be graduate of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine Middletown, NY (Summa Cum Laude), I am passionate about cardiovascular disease, particularly cardiac amyloidosis and advanced heart failure as well as the impact of social determinants of health (SDOH) on patient outcomes. My academic foundation combines a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida State University and Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Biological and Physical Sciences from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine Middletown, NY provide me with a unique perspective on healthcare and SDOH. My research portfolio includes multiple poster presentations about unique clinical cases and publications in the Encyclopedia of Toxicology and the Journal of Muscle Research and Cell Motility. I am also passionate about education and teaching, having served as a Teaching Assistant in Physiology and Clinical Skills courses during medical school.
