Professional Bio
I am an Internal Medicine resident and clinical instructor at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, New York. My medical training began in India, where I worked in high-volume clinical environments shaped by significant healthcare disparities. Early exposure to cardiovascular disease and its downstream complications, combined with outcomes-based research experience, naturally shaped my focused interest in cardiovascular medicine.
Across my clinical and research training, I have become particularly drawn to preventive cardiology identifying risk early, addressing modifiable factors, and translating evidence into practice to improve cardiovascular outcomes. I am motivated to bridge bedside care with data-driven cardiology, with a long-term goal of advancing patient-centered, prevention-focused cardiovascular care through clinically meaningful research.
