Izza Shahid, MBBS

Izza Shahid, MBBS, is a postdoctoral fellow in preventive cardiology at Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center, where her work focuses on cardiovascular prevention, cardiometabolic health, cardiovascular exposome, and social determinants of health. She has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for several cardiovascular journals. She has received national recognition for her work in cardiovascular prevention and women’s cardiovascular health.
