Professional Bio
I am a first-year Internal Medicine resident at BronxCare / Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. My passion lies in preventative cardiology, and have had the privilege of pursuing research at Mount Sinai Heart. My work has been accepted at leading conferences, including ASPC, ACC, AHA, TCT and SCAI. I am honored to serve as a Social Media Ambassador for ASPC 2025. During medical school, I was elected Class Representative, where I advanced initiatives promoting healthy nutrition and wellness. My mother, a lifelong yoga practitioner, imparted an early appreciation for mindfulness and balance. My father, guided by the rigor of military discipline, instilled in me the importance of structured nutrition and regular exercise as core measures for the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Guided by his example, I have adopted a disciplined approach to nutrition, exercise, and the proactive prevention of cardiometabolic disorders. These formative influences underpin my professional dedication to addressing cardiovascular health disparities in South Asian and underserved populations and inform my academic focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to advance cardiology.
