Bradley Petek, MD is a Sports Cardiologist and the Director of the Sports Cardiology Program at Oregon Health & Science University. He completed Cardiovascular Disease and Sports Cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. His patients include professional/elite, collegiate, high school, amateur, tactical and recreational athletes. He serves as a Sports Cardiologist for numerous teams/organizations throughout the state of Oregon including the Oregon State Beavers, University of Portland Pilots, Portland State Vikings, Lewis and Clark Pioneers, Portland Winterhawks, Portland Fire & Rescue, and Portland Police Bureau.
His research interests include outcomes in athletes with cardiovascular disease, sudden cardiac arrest in young athletes, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, pre-participation cardiovascular testing in athletes, exercise-induced cardiovascular remodeling, and the cardiovascular care of female athletes.
