Professional Bio
I am a Board-certified internal medicine physician with a career spanning bench science, clinical practice, and health system leadership. My research career began at Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, contributing to peer-reviewed work in cell biology, shRNA screens, and vascular progenitor biology. I am the first author of published cardiovascular outcomes research and have practiced inpatient and outpatient internal medicine across academic and community settings. Most recently, I have held executive physician leadership roles in population health, quality, risk adjustment, and health data interoperability across Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and ACA populations. My current focus is a full-time return to cardiovascular disease prevention and the translation of evidence into clinical practice.
