Amanpreet Wasir

An incoming Master of Public Health (MPH) student at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Amanpreet Singh Wasir is an early-career healthcare professional dedicated to community health, preventive cardiology, and equitable care. He is the Founder & Managing Director of the Hridayamrit Foundation—India’s largest youth-led nonprofit for cardiovascular health literacy—and HEART TO HEART, the largest cardiology interest group affiliated with the American College of Cardiology. A top graduate from Pune with training experience in the U.S. and U.K., he holds leadership roles with AACIO, AAPI, ASPC, and the ACC, has contributed to over 60 research abstracts, publications, and invited talks, and has presented his work at leading cardiovascular conferences while advancing innovative, community-centered cardiovascular prevention across India.
