Social Media Ambassador
Program
Represent the future of preventive cardiology. Amplify breakthroughs from Scottsdale to the world with #ASPC2026.
Be the Voice of Preventive
Cardiology at #ASPC2026
The 2026 ASPC Social Media Ambassador Program empowers the next generation of preventive cardiology professionals — trainees, early-career clinicians, and emerging voices — to amplify ASPC's mission, grow our digital community, and bring the energy of Scottsdale to clinicians worldwide. Ambassadors serve as official online representatives of ASPC during the Congress, creating and sharing original content, resharing ASPC posts, and engaging their professional networks to drive awareness and community growth.
Who This Is For
This program is designed for early-career clinicians, trainees, and engaged ASPC members who are passionate about cardiovascular prevention and have an active professional social media presence. If you want your voice heard beyond the ballroom, this is your platform.
What You'll Do
Live-post from scientific sessions, debates, and the Partner Showcase. Conduct short on-camera interviews with key opinion leaders in preventive cardiology — faculty speakers, award lecturers, and thought leaders. Share clinical takeaways on cholesterol management, imaging innovations, and lifestyle medicine. Engage your professional network before, during, and after the Congress using official ASPC branding and hashtags.
The program is open to ASPC members and congress attendees in the following categories:
Requirements to Apply
To be considered for the program, applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria at the time of application:
Must be a current ASPC member, or in an eligible category: medical student, resident, fellow-in-training, associate member, or a clinician in practice for 5 years or less at the time of application.
Must have an active, public (or professionally accessible) profile on at least two platforms: X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, or Threads.
Must already be following ASPC's official social media accounts prior to applying. Find us: @ASPCardio on X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Must be registered to attend the 2026 ASPC Congress on CVD Prevention as an in-person attendee at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, AZ. Virtual attendance does not qualify.
Must be comfortable creating original posts, using hashtags, tagging accounts, and resharing content independently across platforms.
Must be comfortable appearing on camera and conducting or participating in short-form video interviews. Ambassadors may be asked to record brief on-site interviews with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in preventive cardiology — including faculty speakers, session chairs, and award lecturers — for distribution across ASPC's social channels. Willingness to speak on camera, ask thoughtful questions, and present yourself professionally in an interview-style format is required.
Must commit to the full program duration: pre-Congress through post-Congress (approximately 6–8 weeks total), including all required deliverables.
What's Expected of You
Accepted ambassadors must complete ALL of the following activities to be eligible for recognition and prizes:
Post a minimum of 2 original posts promoting the Congress and sharing your excitement to attend, using #ASPC2026 and tagging @ASPCardio.
Reshare/repost a minimum of 3 official ASPC posts in the 4 weeks leading up to the Congress.
Participate in any ambassador kick-off email, onboarding briefing, or orientation communication issued by ASPC staff.
Live post a minimum of 2 times per day from Scientific Sessions — key clinical takeaways, faculty highlights, debate reactions, or behind-the-scenes moments (static post, reel, or story).
Conduct or participate in a minimum of 1 on-camera KOL interview during the Congress — a short-form (60–180 second) video conversation with a speaker, faculty member, session chair, or thought leader in preventive cardiology covering their session topic, key clinical insights, or career perspective. Post to your social channels using #ASPC2026, tagging @ASPCardio and the featured KOL.
Live post a minimum of 1 original post per day from the Partner Showcase Exhibit Hall — highlighting sponsor activations, new products, or conversation highlights.
Post at least 1 original post from the Poster Hall / Abstract Hall, spotlighting an early-career research poster or oral abstract presentation.
Reshare a minimum of 1 ASPC official post per day during the Congress window and engage with fellow ambassador posts (likes, comments, or shares) to build community.
Include #ASPC2026 on every post published during the Congress window.
Post a minimum of 1 recap or reflection post summarizing your Congress experience within 48 hours post-conference.
Complete the ASPC Ambassador Debrief Form so ASPC can track overall program reach and impressions.
