Get Involved

Communications: To support overall comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. Partner with staff to oversee a consistent and active communications strategy to all stakeholders for the purposes of program messaging, awareness and branding.

Education: Develops and maintains effective education programs for the Society. Develops recommendations and monitors activities related to other education issues of importance to the Society.

External Relations: The External Relations Committee shall be responsible for engaging with other organizations, both domestic and international, including other professional societies, associations and networks, healthcare practitioners and providers, industry partners, governmental agencies, and the public, to ensure that all Society programming with external partners contributes directly to the fulfillment of the Society’s mission and goals.

Medical Liaison: Group of ASPC members with expertise in different areas of preventive cardiology that will help with projects and activities that request expert input and/or participation.

Membership: The mission of the Membership Committee is to develop new and innovative ways to stimulate and encourage membership and involvement, as well as retain current membership in the ASPC.

Publications Committee: Reviews, approves, and generates manuscript proposals that are developed on behalf of or with endorsement of ASPC. Works with our affiliated journal, Clinical Cardiology, for a regular publication strategy.
