Surgeon General releases a Call to Action on Hypertension
The office of the Surgeon General releases a call to action recommending that hypertension control become a national public health priority, optimizing patient care, and building a community to help control high blood pressure. Progress made in controlling hypertension “is slipping away from us”, said, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome M. Adams, MD, MPH. This leaves 82 million people with Hypertension at risk for preventable events and conditions.
